2007 Winter/Spring Booksellers Forum Schedule The American Booksellers Association will hold12 Booksellers Forums over the course of four months, beginning in mid-February. Each will bring ABA staff and representatives of the association's Board of Directors together with booksellers across the country. Held in conjunction with the regional booksellers associations, the forums provide an opportunity for members to receive updates on ABA's program and initiatives, as well as to voice concerns and to offer input on the future direction of the association, which is formulating a strategic plan for the next five years. In addition, each forum will be coupled with an educational component. Programming details are still taking shape and will be announced in upcoming editions of Bookselling This Week. "We hope every ABA member will plan to attend one of the forums," said ABA COO Oren Teicher. "Input from these events is crucial in helping the association meet members' needs.
