Yellow Transportation and UPS Freight -- Large Freight Shipping

What does the ABA Freight Program mean to you?

"HUGE SAVINGS"

Yellow Transportation and UPS Freight (formerly Overnite Transportation), in conjunction with PartnerShip, provide freight services to all American Booksellers Association members at exceptional savings!

Yellow Transportation and UPS Freight provide prompt, dependable service to all ABA members at a discount rate of up to 63% off all shipments. Charges reflect the carriers' base rates at the time of the shipment minus the discount.

Yellow Transportation's primary focus is on moving national and regional interstate shipments, ones that typically weigh over 250 lbs. UPS Freight is primarily a regional and intrastate carrier that also handles shipments over 250 lbs. For shipments less than 250 lbs., your best option for savings is with FedEx Ground.

If you pay freight on large shipments, this program can save you hundreds -- maybe even thousands -- of dollars per year. The program can be used for inbound, as well as outbound, shipping. The savings on inbound freight alone can increase your margins 1% to 3% -- and increase your profits.

Best of all, there are no costs to use this program. If you use it once or 50 times, you get the benefit of the ABA discount.

If you're not sure this program will save you money, give us a call and we can give you examples of your potential savings. To get a rate quote on your next shipment, or to find out what you could have saved on past shipments, call PartnerShip at 1-800-599-2902, ext. 2462.
